The Leavenworth/Wenatchee area has many recreation opportunities including hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, boating, rafting, horseback riding, and birding. North-central Washington’s tree fruit, wine and local farm producers also provide visitors with agritourism possibilities. Ecological and economic diversity are hallmarks of the state of Washington providing the chance to hike in a coastal rainforest one day and watch commercial jetliner assembly the next. Local and regional attractions provide many opportunities for adventure prior to or after the conference.
